The All Progressives Congress (APC) has fixed August 19 as the date when it would elect its candidate for the November 18 governorship election in Anambra state, South-east Nigeria.
The party indicates that screening would hold on 14 to 15 August, while election appeal is scheduled for August 21.
The party, in a statement, stated that no fewer than 15 aspirants purchased its nomination form for the contest at the cost of N5.5 million each.
It also listed some of the aspirants as George Moghalu, Sen. Andy Uba, Paul Chukwuma, Madu Nonso, Bart Nwibe Bart, and Patrick Nwike.
Others include Tony Nwoye, Chike Obidigbo, Johnbosco Onunkwo, Adaobi Uchegbu and Uzoh Obinna.topics from
