The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has reiterated his call for the boycott of the November 18 Anambra governorship election.
Speaking with The Sun, the pro-secessionist said the boycott would be “total and absolute”.
According to him, it is the civic responsibility of the people and to sound out their commitment to the Biafra cause.
We must boycott the election in Anambra state. It is our civic responsibility to do so and that’s what we are going to do – total and absolute boycott, to let the whole world understand the strength of IPOB on the ground, in Anambra state.
Kanu boasted that no political or religious leader currently has the pull or support that he enjoys.
Pointing to the crowd that gather at all his public appearances, the pro-secessionist said “If I were to visit Lagos, it will be the same, If were to go to Kano, it will be the same thing. People will come out to see me because I preach the truth”.
