Armed Forces Fighting Boko Haram Collectively , Enenche Says

The Director of Defence Information, Maj-Gen John Enenche, has said the armed forces would continue to work collectively to fight Boko Haram in the Northeast.

He made this known in a statement released on Monday.
Enenche was reacting to a publication titled ”How Nigerian Air Force’s failings allegedly prolonged war against Boko Haram.”

He said the insinuation was not true and described it as a deliberate misinformation of the public about the Nigerian Air Force in particular and the Armed Forces of Nigeria in general.

The armed forces of Nigeria trained and always operated jointly to achieve set objectives under  coordinated command and control centre – the Defence Headquarters.

It is not possible for a single service or component to frustrate or derail the aim of the Armed Forces of Nigeria.

The ill motivated publication against the Chief of Air Staff and the Nigerian Air Force should therefore, be disregarded.

The Defence spokesperson maintained that the air force had lived up to its expectations in the North East, alongside the army and navy for the successes recorded against Boko Haram.

Collectively, the Armed Forces of Nigeria will continue to work relentlessly to make Boko Haram activities in the North East history in record time.
