President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday, in a short but strongly-worded speech, addressed the nation for the first time since his return from his medical vacation in the UK.
He expressed his happiness to return to the country while stating his distress at the news he got from home while he was away.
He pointed to the comments on social media which he said have crossed the red line by questioning the nation’s continued existence.
President Buhari said he is not against legitimate concerns, but the different groups must air their grievances within reason and work-out a mode of co-existence.
This is because the continued co-existence of Nigeria is non-negotiable.
He ordered the re-invigoration of the fight against insurgency, kidnapping and ethnic violence by all security agencies.
He said terrorists and criminals must be fought and destroyed relentlessly so that the majority of Nigerians could live in peace and safety.topics from
