Leader of Coalition of Northern Group (CNG), Shettima Yerima, has said the group was prompted by some northern leaders to issue the Igbo living in the North exit notice.
Yerima said apart from being promoted by some unnamed northern leaders to issue the notice, it was also prompted by the activities of pro-Biafran Leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
Yerima made these remarks on Monday, in Lafia, during the zonal meeting of the coalition.
