Ozubulu Youth Association on Monday protested against the re-opening of St. Philips Catholic Church, one week after 12 worshippers were killed in the church by unknown gunmen.
The attack was criticised nationwide and acting President Yemi Osinbajo sent some delegates to the community to unravel the cause of the attack.
The Church was, however, reopened last Sunday for regular service.
President of the youth association, Comrade Emeka Anakwe, said it was worrisome that the church would be re-opened for service when investigations into the matter had not been concluded or even the victims buried.
He noted that it was the highest level of provocation for the youths to see the church holding service when the community was still mourning.
