The police have reportedly arrested three suspected ritualists after they were forced out of a drainage channel at Ile-Zik, close to Ikeja, on the Lagos/Abeokuta Expressway.
This comes two days after a similar hideout was uncovered at Obadeyi Ajala, Ijaiye area, along the same route.
It was gathered that a sharp knife was found on one of the suspects said to have been posing as a mentally ill person.
Decomposed human intestines, a kidney, as well as items such as a cutlass, pairs of slippers, underwear, clothes, condoms, among others, were allegedly discovered in some black spots linking the drains.
Meanwhile, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni dispelled reports that human parts were found in the den.
Our men personally entered the place and saw some people with tools dressed in mechanic clothes. People living under bridges, tunnels, uncompleted building and trenches should be careful because you stand a chance of being tagged as ritualist and being mobbed.
Meanwhile, the suspects are being interrogated by the police.topics from
