Former presidential aide Reno Omokri and ex-Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode have mocked President Muhammadu Buhari for alleged invasion of his office by rats.
President Buhari returned to Nigeria on August 19 from London where he spent over 100 days treating undisclosed ailment.
He then resumed official duties on Monday in his official residence instead of his office due to renovation of the office, according to one of his media aides, Bashir Ahmad.
Beside this reason, another media aide to the president Shehu Garba was also attributed to have said, ”rodents destroyed PMB’s office furniture while he was abroad”.
If you are wondering why the rats in your city have reduced, wonder no more. They have all relocated to seek greener pastures at @AsoRock!
Since @AsoRock is a den of “rodents”, it’s my patriotic duty to warn the Presidency to proactively begin protecting @MBuhari from Lassa Fever.
The @NGRPresident projected PMB as a corruption crusader with strong integrity. Infantile lies as this rodent story rubbishes that image!
If President @MBuhari is not strong enough to go to his office, @GarShehu should say the truth and shame satan rather than blame rodents!
In all this, the only credit I can give @NGRPresident is that they haven’t blamed @GEJonathan & PDP for sending rats to destroy PMB’s office
On his part, Fani-Kayode, tweeted: ”My goodness!!! Even the rats don’t want him to come back.
In 1985 he (Buhari) was driven from office by patriotic and courageous soldiers. In 2017 he was driven from office by patriotic and courageous rats.
Rodents have caused a lot of damage to the President’s office! Really @GarShehu, there should be limits to propaganda. Leave lies for Lai!
