Fani-Kayode Mocks Nigeria’s Absence At G20 Summit

Former Aviation Minister and presidential aide, Femi Fani-Kayode, on Friday mocked the absence of Acting President Yemi Osinbajo from the G20 Summit taking place in Germany.

Fani-Kayode took another swipe at the presidency by bringing up the now two-month-old medical vacation taken by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Using his Twitter account, @realFFK, the PDP chieftain pointed out that the government heads of Senegal, Ivory Coast and South Africa are present at an event that Nigeria is conspicuously absent at.

G20 meets. President of Senegal, Ivory Coast and S.Africa are there. Nigeria’s Pres. has gone missing and her Acting Pres. was not invited!”

The G20 is a forum, that gathers world leaders from the top 20 of the world’s most successful and emerging economies.

This year’s annual summit will hold from July 7 to July 8 and has been marred by violent protests.

It also marked some firsts for US President Donal Trump as he, since his assumption of office, met with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.
