Security operatives have taken over some parts of Oyigbo Local Government area in Rivers State, Southern Nigeria.
This comes following a clash between Hausas and some members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Tuesday.
The security operatives, who were mainly policemen, also embarked on stop-and-search in order to forestall a repeat of the crisis.
Calm has, however, returned to the area after the clash that lasted for about an hour on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Nigerian Police command in the state also said one of his men was killed by some IPOB members and burnt their patrol van.
