National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator Bola Tinubu has said there is no cause for alarm over the lingering disagreement between the executive and the legislative arms of government.
Tinubu, who made the disclosure on Sunday in Kano while speaking to journalists, said it is normal in politics to have disagreements between the two arms of government.
The disagreement is nothing but politics. No one among the two can convince the other. I was in the NASS before and I know very well things will normalised.
Nigerians should not worry as the disagreement will soon come to an end. APC will come out stronger from this dispute. There is no cause for alarm.
In a related development, Tinubu also endorsed the second term bid of Kano state governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, come 2019.
Tinubu made the endorsement when he paid a condolence visit to the governor over the death of late Damnsanin Kano, Dr Yusuf Maitama Sule.
The APC national leader said, “You are a hardworking governor and you have concern for your electorates. You have done a lot in making Kano a greater state.”
He urged the people of Kano to continue to support Ganduje-led administration to boost the economy of the state.
Kano is an important state to the economy of the country. Population is an asset and land mass is an asset. We can create more job opportunities with these.
I urge you to create more job opportunities through the population and land mass of Kano.
